Lessons

Reading a candlestick chart
- Each candle covers one time period, such as 5 minutes or 1 day.
- The thick body runs from the opening price to the closing price. Green means the price closed higher than it opened; red means it closed lower.
- The thin lines above and below (wicks) show the highest and lowest price reached in that period.

Choosing a time range
- Short ranges (1m, 5m) show fast, noisy moves. Long ranges (1h, 1D) show the bigger trend.
- Try looking at the same coin on 5m and 1D to see how different the picture can be.

Placing a practice trade
- Open Markets & Trade, pick a coin from the list, and enter an amount in USD.
- Choose your practice balance or your welcome credit, check the estimated fill and fee, then press Buy.
- Close the position from the Open positions table whenever you like.

Fees and slippage
- Every simulated buy and sell includes a small fee, like a real exchange.
- Slippage means you usually pay a little more than the price you see when you buy. The practice account includes this so results feel realistic.

Stop-loss and take-profit
- A stop-loss closes a trade automatically if the price falls a set percentage, limiting the loss.
- A take-profit closes it when the price rises a set percentage, locking in the gain.
- The AI bot uses both on every trade it opens.

Setting up the AI bot
- Pick a strategy (moving average or trend following), a coin, and a risk level.
- Set how much of your practice balance it may use, the largest single trade, and the most it may lose in one day.
- Activate it, then watch every decision on the bot page. Pause or stop it any time.

Managing risk
- Never put more into one trade than you can afford to lose.
- Past results, including practice results, don't predict future ones. Crypto prices can move sharply in minutes.
